The loss of a loved one is typically a time filled with grief, confusion, and an overall heightening of emotions. If you recently lost a loved one, and were also informed that you were appointed by the decedent to be the Executor of the estate, you may add “confusion” to the list of emotions if you have never served as an Executor before this.
