A DocuBank emergency card lets your doctors instantly obtain your advance directives. Every client of German Law receives their first year of DocuBank membership for free. The more your doctors know about you, the better treatment they can provide. One of the life saving benefits that a DocuBank membership offers is that you can also send a list of your medications whenever your card is used. DocuBank has a new system that makes it easy for you to set up your medication list on their website!
Doctors recommend creating a medication list for two important reasons:
- They need to know what medications you’re taking if you’re hospitalized so they can make sure you do not miss any doses.
- They may need to prescribe a new medication, and it’s very important they know what medications you’re currently taking so they can avoid any dangerous interactions.

Already storing a medication list you mailed or emailed DocuBank? You do not need to switch to the online option. But using the online feature will make it much easier to edit your medication list if your prescriptions change.
If you have any questions about this new feature, please contact DocuBank: 866-362-8226 M-F from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST or email memberservices@docubank.com.
If you have any questions about your estate plan, or if your health, assets, or family relationships have changed, please contact German Law at (701) 738-0060.
